Choose a trade
Open the Malta directory and pick roofing, plumbing, electrical or another home-service trade. The cards already show a name, an area and a phone number.
Malta homeowners · One island list · Eight trades
Search for a roofer, plumber, electrician or locksmith the way you already do — by trade, then by area if you want it closer. The whole island is one directory. Open a list, read typical euro costs, then contact the business yourself.
Pick a trade — and an area if you want a closer list. Nothing is emailed on your behalf.
A defined path, not a marketplace
The Malta pages stay on the public site. There is no login and no job board sitting between you and the business.
Open the Malta directory and pick roofing, plumbing, electrical or another home-service trade. The cards already show a name, an area and a phone number.
Use the air-conditioning and roof-waterproofing notes as a briefing. Figures carry a source and a date. They are not a quote from this site.
Profiles show name, area, phone and, where held, email, website, hours and a REWS authorisation. You place the call.
Eight home-service trades
Each trade opens its own Malta list. Cost notes sit beside it if you want a range before you phone.
Flat roofs, membranes and guttering on limestone and apartment blocks.
Leaks, bathrooms and cooling pipework. A listing is not a REWS ticket.
Rewires, consumer units and air-conditioning electrics. REWS appears only when it is on the profile.
Interior and exterior finishing, including prep on limestone and render.
Emergency lockouts and lock changes. You still place the call.
Refurbishment, apartments and larger building work across the island.
Gardens, paving and external maintenance rather than a general handyman listing.
End-of-tenancy and property-maintenance cleans with a published phone number.
One island, six service areas
These names are service areas on the same Malta directory. They do not open a second city site.
Harbour streets, Floriana and nearby apartments
Seafront blocks and neighbouring Msida
Paceville, Pembroke and the north-east coast
Central towns and inland apartment stock
Northern towns and nearby limestone streets
Victoria, Rabat and the rest of the island
Euro cost notes
The Malta guides are written for homeowners. Price pages name a source and a date. They do not replace a site visit or a written quote.
Euro bands for a split-system install, plus REWS and Planning Authority checks that sit beside the job.
Torch-on and liquid membranes on a flat roof, with BCA rainwater rules and a sourced range.
The island-wide list. Choose a trade, then use the phone number already on the card.
Straight answers
Open the Malta directory and choose a trade. The whole island is one list. Valletta, Sliema, St Julian’s, Birkirkara, Mosta and Gozo sit as service areas, not as separate cities.
No. After you choose a trade you see listings with the phone number, email or website already published for that business. You make contact yourself.
No. Directory pages and the Malta cost notes open in the browser without registration.
This is a directory, not a certification scheme. A Planning Authority permit or a REWS Authorisation A or B appears only when it is on the profile. The site does not vouch for the work, hold insurance for the tradesperson, or sell a badge.
Malta jobs are priced in euro. The air-conditioning and roof-waterproofing notes give ranges with a source and a date. They are a sense-check before you phone someone, not a quote and not a price the site can honour.
Homeowners here usually need three things at once: someone who actually covers the island, a sense of whether a waterproofing or air-conditioning quote is in the right band, and a rule check when REWS or a Planning Authority permit applies. A London list does not do that work.
This partition keeps those jobs on their own pages. Each trade has an island-wide list. The guides carry euro figures and a date. When you are ready, the profile gives you a number or a website — not a promise that this site will chase the tradesperson for you.
A useful listing is boring on purpose. It shows the business name, the trades it covers, the area they serve, a phone number, and the date of the record. Optional fields — website, email, hours, REWS Authorisation A or B — appear only when they exist in the data.
The site does not invent star ratings and does not mark businesses as “approved”. To change or take down a listing, email support@ahandyuk.com.
