What these pages do
Each tool is a first look. Roof area ignores dormers. Heating power is not a heat-loss survey. Heat-pump savings is not a Boiler Upgrade Scheme decision. A budget split is not a builder’s take-off. A rate comparison is not a contract.

How to read a result
A calculator only knows what you type. If a length is guessed, the area is guessed. If a unit rate is a starter figure and not the one on your bill, the pounds will drift.
Where a page shows a band, use the band. The midpoint is not a price this site can honour. Cost notes still sit beside the tools: most cards here publish a quote policy, not a tariff.
Gas work still needs Gas Safe. A heat-pump grant still needs an MCS-certified installer. The tools do not check either mark.
After you have a range

Write down the assumption that mattered
Pitch, insulation band, unit rate, contingency or VAT. Ask the person who answers whether their figure uses the same basis.

Questions before you treat a figure as a bill
Do these calculators upload my numbers?
No. Each tool runs in this tab. The pages do not upload measurements, store a floorplan or open a job ticket.
Is the result a quote from this site?
No. A result is a range from the figures you type and the assumptions printed on that page. It is not a quote this site can honour.
Which calculator should I open?
Roof lengths go to roof area. Room sizes go to heating power. A boiler bill goes to heat-pump savings. A refurbishment split goes to renovation budget. A day rate against a lump sum goes to hourly-rate comparison.
Do I need an account?
No. The five calculators open in the browser without registration.
What do I do with the range?
Take it to a city-and-trade list and use the public phone number on a profile. The contact-details page shows the same public numbers. This site does not email or text anyone on your behalf.
